Sweet Potato Wedges BLW
Soft roasted sweet potato wedges for baby-led weaning, with safe shape tips by age.
Ingredients
- 1 medium sweet potato
- 1 tsp olive oil
- Pinch of cinnamon or mild paprika
Instructions
- Peel sweet potato if the skin is tough.
- Cut into thick finger-length wedges.
- Toss with olive oil and spice.
- Roast at 200C until very soft.
- Cool and test that each wedge squishes easily.
How To Serve At 6, 9, And 12 Months
6 months
Offer thick soft wedges for gripping.
9 months
Cut into smaller chunks if baby has pincer grasp.
12 months
Serve as a side with fishcakes, dal, or chicken.
