Red Lentil Veggie Dal
A mild red lentil dal for babies, ideal for preloaded spoons, rice, or soft toast fingers.
Ingredients
- 100g red lentils, rinsed
- 1 grated carrot
- 1/2 tsp mild curry powder
- 300ml water
- 1 tbsp coconut milk
Instructions
- Add lentils, carrot, spice, and water to a pan.
- Simmer until lentils collapse and carrot is soft.
- Stir in coconut milk.
- Mash or loosen with water to the right texture.
- Cool before serving.

Serve on a preloaded spoon.
9 months
Offer with soft rice or toast fingers.
12 months
Serve as a family dal with vegetables.
