- 50g rolled oats
- 120ml whole milk or unsweetened oat drink
- 1/2 apple, grated
- Pinch of cinnamon
Method
- Mix oats, milk, apple and cinnamon; rest 5 minutes.

- Cool completely, then slice into finger-width bars.
How to serve it by stage
6+ months
Classic finger-width bars for palm grip — no bowl-flipping, no spoon battles.
9+ months
Cube the bars for pincer practice; serve with yogurt for dipping.
12+ months
Bars plus a spoonful of nut butter (thinly spread) for extra energy.
Allergen & safety noteUse thin-spread smooth nut butter only — dollops and chunky spreads are choking hazards. Always supervise eating, serve baby upright in a high chair, and check food passes the squish test for younger babies.
